Refund policy

1. Security Deposit Requirement

  • A security deposit is collected at the time of rental checkout.

  • The deposit amount varies by product type (e.g., TV size, consoles) and is fully refundable upon satisfactory return.


2. Manufacturer Defects

  • If your TV experiences a malfunction due to a manufacturer defect, as determined by GateTVs, we will:

    • Provide a free replacement unit at no additional cost.

    • Issue a full refund of your security deposit.


3. Customer-Caused Damage

  • Damage resulting from misuse, negligence, or accidental breakage to be determined at GateTVs' sole discretion will result in:

    • Forfeiture of the full security deposit to cover repair or replacement costs.


4. Missing Components

  • To ensure equipment readiness for the next renter, the following items must be returned:

    • Remote control

    • Power cables and HDMI cables

    • Original packaging/box

  • If any component is missing, we will retain a portion of the security deposit to cover replacement costs


5. Inspection & Refund Timing

  • We inspect all returned equipment at the time of pickup.

  • Remaining deposit funds will be refunded via the original payment method within 14 business days of inspection.
